Wooden Hats
Last Saturday I went to a local turning club in Blackburn (Lancashire), to watch a professional turner giving a demonstration. This particular gentleman was Andrew Hall, known as "The Hat Man". The main thing he turns, quite obviously is hats - well worth a look at his web site - www.hallwoodhats.com
Very good to watch, and explains what he is doing as he goes along. He also makes replica Corinthian Helmets. I am going to try one of those very shortly. I will post a picture if the result is worthy.
